How We Help | Mental Health Treatment at CTT Wellness

Therapy That Fits Your Life and Your Needs

You do not need to know what kind of therapy you need before you reach out. Most people do not. What matters is that something feels hard right now, and you are looking for support.

At CTT Wellness, we take time to understand your story, your goals, and what has or has not worked before. From there, we match you with the right therapist and build a plan that fits your life. Our mental health treatment is trauma-informed, personalized, and available for all ages and identities. Whether you are coming to therapy for the first time or returning after a difficult experience somewhere else, you will be met with care, not a formula.

Mental health treatment at CTT is offered in person at our Ontario clinics, virtually across Ontario and select Canadian provinces, and in-home or community in select Ontario regions — so you can access support in the way that works for your life.

How We Deliver Mental Health Treatment

three dots - green, purple and blue
Every person is different, and so is every care plan. We offer therapy in three formats so you can access support in the way that works for your life. Many people use a combination of formats over the course of care, shifting between in-person and virtual depending on what they need that week.

In-person at our Ontario clinics

Sessions in Oakville, Grimsby, St. Catharines, or Kitchener with a therapist in the room with you

Virtually across Ontario and select Canadian provinces

Secure video sessions from wherever you feel comfortable. Available across Ontario, with some services also offered in Newfoundland and Nova Scotia.

In-home or community in select Ontario regions

For some people, leaving home for therapy is not the right fit. We come to you in select Ontario communities, meeting you in a setting that feels safe and accessible.

Therapy Approaches We Offer

three dots - green, purple and blue
Below are the therapy approaches our team is trained in. You do not need to know which one is right for you. During your free consultation, we listen to what you are navigating and recommend the approaches most likely to help. Many people benefit from a combination of approaches, layered together over the course of care.

What to Expect From Therapy at CTT

three dots - green, purple and blue
Starting therapy can feel like a big step. Here is what actually happens when you reach out to us, so nothing feels like a surprise.
Number 1 in a circle

Step 1: Free 15 Minute Consultation.

This is a simple, pressure-free conversation. You share a little about what is going on, ask any questions you have, and get a feel for how we work. There is no commitment required and no expectation that you have everything figured out. We will listen and help you find a direction that feels right.
Number 2 in a circle

Step 2: Therapist matching

We do not assign therapists randomly. We take what we learned in your consultation and match you with someone whose training, approach, and personality genuinely fit your needs. If you are a parent seeking support for your child or teen, we match your child with a therapist who specializes in working with young people. Couples and families are matched with therapists experienced in relational care.

Number 3 in a circle

Step 3: Personalized plan

Together with your therapist, you will build a care plan around your goals, your pace, and your life as it actually looks right now. This is not a rigid programme. It is a living plan that evolves as you do. You will always know what you are working toward and why.
Number 4 in a circle

Step 4: Ongoing Care and Evaluation

Your therapist checks in on your progress regularly and adjusts your plan when needed. Therapy at CTT is not a fixed course with a set end date. It grows with you. When you are ready to move on, we will support that transition too.
